Dwelling Fire
Our dwelling fire program provides an avenue for writing homes or residences outside the range of
risks covered by our Homeowner policies.
Dwelling fire policies are particularly useful for landlords, with options for single and
multiple-unit dwellings, owner occupied and non-owner occupied dwellings.
Three versions of our dwelling fire policy are available. They differ in the amount of coverage
provided and the manner in which losses are settled. However, each includes coverage for the
dwelling, any "other structures" on premises (for a specified amount) and fair rental value (for
a specified amount).
Policyholders may obtain coverage for other costs that could arise if a rental unit is damaged or
someone is injured on the premises. Please see your Patriot Insurance independent agent for
