Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance requests Insurance Scores on all home, auto and watercraft policies in Michigan and Ohio. We do so to more accurately determine rates because statistical research shows a correlation of certain credit behavior to an increase in claim activity. A score generates up to four reason codes which contribute to the calculation of that score and allow for a better understanding of how it was derived.
