Many agencies wonder how losses are handled once they are submitted to Frankenmuth Insurance.
There are four general ways that new losses are submitted:
· Phone
· Fax
· iBIS
All of these new loss notice forms go into a general inbox. Once they are identified as a new loss they are routed to our clerical department inbox. Losses that are submitted through iBIS take priority.
These losses are then set up in our exceed system and a claim number is generated. Once a claim number is created the new loss then goes directly to each department to be assigned to an adjuster who specializes in that specific type of loss.
The Insured or Claimant should expect to be contacted within 24 hours of the claim being assigned to an adjuster. Claimants submitting Workers’ Compensation claims can expect to be notified within 48 hours.
