Effective Jan. 17, 2013, a new Certificate of Insurance option will be available in iBIS Quick Inquiry.
With this new feature, enhancements were also made to how the Quick Inquiry options are selected and an upgraded look to the Associated Documents page when selecting Policy Documents.
How do these enhancements impact my agency operation?
Upon logging into iBIS, a new Search Options field will be available in the Quick Inquiry section of the Agency Services page. This new field contains all Quick Inquiry search options including the new Certificate of Insurance feature. Forms Inquiry was also added to the Search Options field for quicker access to policy forms.
Simply enter a part of the Policyholder’s name or Policy Number and select Certificate of Insurance from the Search Options field and click the Search button. The Certificate of Insurance Index screen will appear to choose the policy number and term desired. If no endorsements were made during the policy term chosen, the Certificates of Insurance will automatically display in .PDF format to easily print and distribute. If endorsements were made, the Associated Documents page will appear so the proper document can be chosen and then the Certificates of Insurance will display.
We hope you find the quick and efficient Certificate of Insurance option to be a valuable customer service feature for your agency operation. If you have any questions regarding these enhancements, please don’t hesitate to contact eBusiness Support at 1-800-234-1133 extension 3000.
