We will be making the following changes to our rates in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont effective 8/1/2013 for both New and Renewal business.

Private Passenger Auto

Base rate changes:

·        New Hampshire:  +4.6%

·        Vermont:  +1.9%

·        Maine: +1.1%

Rule change:

     Short rate Cancellation – The rule was revised to allow returned premium to be computed on a pro rata basis if the cancellation is requested by the insured after the first full year.

Homeowners

Base rate changes:

·        New Hampshire:  +3.6%

·        Vermont:  +4.9%

·        Maine: +2.5%

We are eliminating the Homeowners $250 deductible option.  A special notice will be sent to the policyholders affected.
