Patriot Insurance Company is pleased to share an executive leadership change for Frankenmuth Insurance.

First, we’d like to congratulate and thank Senior Vice President Phil McCain who will retire from Frankenmuth Insurance on June 2, 2023, after more than 37 years of dedicated service.

Phil has been a member of the Executive team for 15 years and oversees Information and Portal Services, Information Services, and Technical Services. He is on the Board of Directors of the Frankenmuth Insurance Foundation where he currently serves on its Executive Committee, as Vice President of the Charitable Foundation, and as chairperson of the Charitable Committee. Additionally, Phil serves as Frankenmuth Insurance’s Ethics Officer, is a member of the corporate Executive Committee, and is responsible for disaster recovery and corporate planning.

Throughout Phil’s tenure, Frankenmuth Insurance developed agency automation services and integrated Patriot Insurance Company into its business processes. Additionally, Phil served as the Executive Sponsor of the company’s business process and systems transformation initiative to replace legacy policy, billing claims, output, and document management platforms for both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines.

Upon Phil’s retirement, Curtis Williams, Director of Technical Services, will be promoted and appointed by the Board of Directors of Frankenmuth Insurance to serve as Vice President of Information Technology. Curtis has been with Frankenmuth Insurance for 27 years. In his new role, Curtis will oversee Information and Portal Services, Information Services, Architecture and Data Services, and Technical Services.
