Patriot Insurance Company announces rate adjustments for Personal Auto, effective June 1, 2021.
Overall rate change (%):
- Maine: +2.3%
- New Hampshire: +2.6%
- Vermont: +1.3%
The following rate adjustments have been made:
- Territory: Factors were revised for liability, other-than-collision (comprehensive) and collision.
- Rating tier: The rating tier factors were adjusted to be phased out in subsequent filings.
- Driver age: We made revision to our factors, in some cases to help target family accounts with youthful drivers.
- Experience rating: The experience rating factors were increased for 1+ experience points.
- Model year: Factors for model years 2015-2019 were adjusted.
- Multiple policy discount – life insurance: The discount increased from 5% to 10% for all coverages.
Remember to utilize our new advance quote discount. This discount is available when quoting eight or more days ahead of the policy planned effective date. The advance quote discount is 14% for auto and 7% for home.
