Improved quote/data bridge processing are now available between PL Rating (comparative rater by Vertafore) and iBIS for quote activity effective 5/1/2012 or greater! 

These improvements include enhanced capabilities to bridge policy data from PL Rating to iBIS thus providing your agency operation with greater efficiency by eliminating duplicate entry.  This enhancement also uses newer technology for receiving and responding to quote requests from PL Rating.  This upgrade to the quote and data bridge processes will eliminate many of the time outs previously received and improve overall system performance between PL Rating and Patriot Insurance.

In order to utilize this feature, you need to enter your credentials including iBIS username, password and the 7-digit Patriot agency code (same as Commercial Lines uses today) in the “Manage Real-Time Passwords” section for Patriot Insurance Company within PL Rating.  Failure to do this step will result in an authentication error, and you will not be able to obtain a real-time quote for Patriot Insurance.  You will no longer be using your previous 8-digit Patriot agency code.
