A message to our policyholders and agents

during COVID-19.

Patriot Insurance is taking measured, appropriate steps during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our office buildings will be closed in recognition of local and national recommendations, but please note we are open for business and fully operational. If you have to file a claim, make a payment or ask questions, we are here for you. You can be assured that we are and will remain focused on serving our policyholders – you have our word.

We understand there are many who may be feeling the economic and financial impact of COVID-19, which is why we are extending our automatic grace period through Monday, May 31, 2020, to all policies, for all our states of operation. During this time period, if you are unable to pay your premium due to COVID-19, your policy will not be canceled for nonpayment. As we continue to monitor the situation, we may extend the grace period further.

To protect our independent agency partners and the communities in which we live and work, we have canceled all in-person meetings. Fortunately, thanks to technology, operations and communications have not skipped a beat.

With more states issuing shelter-in-place orders, it is important to know that insurance operations are considered essential to the communities we serve. We encourage all agency partners to enact social distancing and safety measures in their own offices to protect everyone’s health and safety.
